Versita is pleased to announce the publishing contest aimed at researchers at the threshold of their academic career: 2012 Emerging Scholar Monograph Competition.
The contest provides an opportunity for young scholars to publish books based on their dissertation research. The winning authors will have their work published for free and distinguished by a stamp on the cover indicating “Grand Prize Winner of the 2012 Emerging Scholar Monograph Competition”.
All recent PhDs who are passionate about science, devoted to their research areas, and eager not only to share their knowledge with the rest of scientific world but also to propel their academic career – should consider entering the competition. There are no entry fees and benefits include promotion of book to the researchers active in the respective field.
The book proposal should be for a scholarly monograph, and the author is required to deliver the entire manuscript by March 31st. 2013 at the latest. The winner will get their book published as part of Versita’s Open Access Books program, endorsed by leading scientist, which has been at the forefront of emerging science from its inception. The book will be available both open access and in print formats. Submissions are invited from the most broad array of disciplines, including hard sciences and humanities.
